Hemlock is very abundant in the forests of British Columbia. It is a beautiful wood in appearance, equal to the Douglas Fir, clean and bright with a white-brownish tone and which when stained, is very appealing. Hemlock panels are used in the construction of high quality flat panel doors. Other uses for Hemlock range from cabinets and store fixtures to feature walls.
